The renovation of Cwm Connell Coastal Cottages began in early 2022 with the time constraint of a Summer open date. Working closely with client, architect and multiple trades on designs that were contemporary while preserving the classic Welsh stone cottage feel.

KEEPING WITH TRADITION
Regular project progress and planning meetings ensured all the works were carried out in good time for the opening date. As with most renovations to old stone buildings there were regular challenges uncovering themselves, which require solutions and experience to minimise time & cost disruptions.
In early 2023 Adref started work renovating cottages in phase 2 of the project, meaning these will be open in time for spring and summer breaks.
Aled took great care to understand our building plans and his team were so efficient and effective and attended to every detail. Their work was high quality and the team were polite and friendly and made sure that the whole project ran smoothly and to schedule. We are delighted with the result and are glad to have already booked Adref for renovating more of our holiday cottages next year.
