CHARMING BUILDING
Maximising the potential of a disused annexe by converting it into a functional work studio with an extra sleeping area is an effective way to optimise space. The initial steps involved stripping back the building’s fabric to understand its 1990s construction techniques, which presented challenges that required innovative solutions. The design by Rural Office of Architecture has successfully transformed the studio into a warm, modern workspace, featuring high vaulted ceilings and an open-plan layout that enhances both functionality and aesthetics.

PURPOSE MADE JOINERY
Purpose made joinery and oak panelling provide a warm backdrop to the freshly painted walls. An upgrade of the thermal efficiencies and installation of a new renewable heating system, installed by our in-house team furthers our commitment of lower energy properties.
